Here you can read some of my poetry I have written over the years, enjoy.

In Loving Memory of Ronnie James Dio (5/16/10)

He caught the rainbow, he stargazed into that magical night sky. His legacy, his talent will never die. His love of music filled his heart, filled his soul; he shared his gift for you, for I. Now he’s sped into the night to embark on a new path. He certainly made his mark, our beloved rainbow in the dark. So much more than a picture, than an image caught in time. His aesthetic musicality was just purely sublime. But now he’s gone, still I’m sad. But there’s no shame on this night because there is a light in the black. I have no doubt that he will be back. But for now we will miss him dearly. Who knows, perhaps he’s already sitting on a silver mountain able to see human existence more clearly. God Speed RJD...you will forever be the self portrait of musical genius to me. Victoria Gambino

Skins Man:

He keeps the time, he keeps the rhyme, he keeps the rest of the band in line. With just a few beats the tone is set, laying down tracks you won't soon forget. Such a necessary element to any good groove, watch his hands fly through the air…just watch him move. Mundane a song would be, if it weren't for the skins man. You see? Victoria Gambino

I Just Like The Song:

Why this, why that? I just like the song, nothing more, nothing less. Sometimes though there is a reason, this I must confess. Music choice can be serious minded and thought provoking, or it can be playful and fun...it just depends on a current mood I guess...surmise which one. The choice can be viewed and deciphered I suppose, as if like wow, is that what she’s thinking and feeling, and this is her current attitude prose? But then again, who knows? So why this, and why that? I just like the song, nothing more, nothing less. (Is that the way it goes?) Victoria Gambino

Toga At The Lake At the lake:

We would gather for a party so grand. Coming in masses we took over that land. With brew in hand, bands continuously playing, man that mosh pit would get crazy, circles of people swaying. Good times, awesome people, great fun in the sun...our parties are never outdone! A carnival like atmosphere as so we do say, this festival was always a good day to play. With hundreds strong the beer flowed long, with Pi Alpha Nu you can’t go wrong! When the party would end so the day would become night. Everyone was elated, we knew we did it right. With town now in sight, our spirits were high, so full of delight. We’d party into after hours until the time came to call it a night. While these memories remain in my heart so true, I’m pleased tradition continues on through...cheers to my family, Pi Alpha Nu! Victoria Gambino

A Story To Tell:

Sitting here on this cushion thinking about an inner talent that is pushing. ‘Tis a story to tell which can no longer intrinsically dwell inside my collegiate intellect. Write I will, write I must, or else my head will be nothing but a breakable bust. A gift has been given to keep on livin’ into tomorrow for all to borrow. I now must sprout and let it all out. Thankful for the spirit that has awakened this craft...don’t want to be a cubicle slave, need to be brave, not laughed. Strength, wisdom and experience will prevail, no I don’t plan to fail. ‘Tis a generous benefaction and with pen in hand I design to take action. Victoria Gambino
